About this opportunity
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency seeks proposals through its Wideband Adaptive RF Protection program to develop wideband adaptive radio frequency filters and cancellation circuits capable of selectively attenuating interference to enable the use of software-defined radios in congested environments. Offerors must demonstrate adaptive RF filtering across 2-18 GHz with at least a 9:1 tuning ratio under Technical Area 1, and wideband signal cancellation across 100 MHz to 6 GHz under Technical Area 2. Proposals will be evaluated based on technical approach, qualifications, schedule, and costs, with the deadline for proposals being June 4, 2020.
There is no set-aside designation for this opportunity. The NAICS code is 541715 and PSC code is C399, with awards to be made through contracts or other transactions mechanisms to multiple offerors. Anticipated budgets range from $500,000 to $5,000,000 per phase for periods of performance of 12-24 months, with total available funding of approximately $40 million over 48 months split evenly between the two technical areas. Successful proposals in Technical Area 1 must exceed a 2:1 tuning ratio in Phase 1 and 3:1 tuning ratio in Phase 2.

Update #4 · Latest ·
The purpose of Amendment 03 is to remind proposers that the proposal due date and time stipulated within the BAA takes precedence should there be a conflict within Beta.SAM.gov pertaining to the response time listed therein. Thus, this Amendment does not modify the BAA, but merely reinforces the proposal due date and time stipulated herein given the fact that a potential conflict within Beta.SAM.gov, regarding the response time for submission of the full proposal, may exist.
Original synopsis below.
DARPA seeks innovative proposals to develop wideband, adaptive RF filters and cancellers that selectively attenuate interference and protect wideband digital radios from saturation. When exposed to interference/self-interference, the filters and cancellers will automatically sense and adapt to the electromagnetic environment through the intelligent control of its adaptive hardware. WARP will ultimately enable the use of wideband software defined radios in congested and contested environments.
Update #3 ·
The purpose of Amendment 02 is to update the deadline for full proposal submission. New full proposal submission deadline is June 4, 2020. See the attached conformed HR001120S0027 document with changes highlighted in yellow.
