About this opportunity

Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) issued a Special Notice announcing its intent to award an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity contract for architect-engineer services. WAPA, an agency within the Department of Energy, anticipates awarding a Full-Service IDIQ contract to provide planning, scoping, preliminary and final design support for several federally funded programs it administers.

The Special Notice serves as advance notification that WAPA will conduct a two-phase selection process to identify qualified firms for the architect-engineer contract. Interested contractors should review the attached Request for Qualifications document released on October 2, 2017 for details on eligibility requirements, evaluation criteria, and instructions for responding by the July 2, 2018 deadline. The IDIQ contract will enable multiple task orders for AE services to assist WAPA in delivering various programs, with an emphasis on conducting all necessary design work to support federally funded infrastructure and capital improvement projects.
