About this opportunity
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Maritime Puget Sound is procuring welding safety equipment, specifically weld curtains and associated accessories, for use at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, Washington. The solicitation requires submission of firm fixed-price quotes for three line items: 30 Shaver Industries weld screens, 15 mobile bases/posts, and 50 J-hooks, all of which must meet specified manufacturer standards or equivalent products must include detailed manufacturer specifications. Potential contractors must complete pricing for each contract line item (CLIN), provide a CAGE code, complete all required representations and certifications, supply manufacturer information for proposed items, maintain current registration in SAM.gov, and include lead time for FOB destination delivery. The evaluation will prioritize responsible sources that provide complete and compliant submissions with accurate pricing and proper documentation. The solicitation was posted on April 21, 2026, with offers due by April 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM, and all questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted via email to naomi.larson@dla.mil.
This is a 100% small business set-aside designated specifically for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) under NAICS code 339999 with a size standard of 550 employees. No incumbent contractor is identified in the solicitation documents. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed-price supply contract for delivery to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, with inspection and acceptance occurring at destination over a 4 to 7-day inspection period and payment processed electronically via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). The required delivery date is February 27, 2026, which notably precedes the solicitation posting date, suggesting this may represent a critical or expedited procurement requirement. The total contract value is not explicitly stated in the available documentation, though pricing will be established through the firm fixed-price quotes submitted by vendors for each of the three distinct line items.
