The work of this project requires the contractor to provide all labor, supervision, materials, equipment, and. The Fernow Experimental Forest (FEF) was established by the US Forest Service to conduct research on timber and watershed management. There are 9 watersheds on the FEF that are gauged with weirs or flumes. Streamflow records from these experimental watershed are among the longest and most continuous in the eastern United States, so there continued operation is essential to the Northern Research Station. However, due to their age, the majority of these gauging devices require some type of repair. Most if not all of these weirs are in remote locations, with no utilities available, and concrete for new wall construction will in most instances require the use of a pump truck.
The project range is estimated to between $50,000.00 and $100,000.00. .

THE SITE VISIT HAS BEEN RESCHEDULE FOR SEPTEMBER 5TH AT 10:00 AM (EASTERN) MEET AT THE PARSON EF MAIN CONFERENCE ROOM FOUR WHEEL DRIVE VECHILES ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Proposals will be due September 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM (Eastern). The contractor is responsible for periodically checking the website for any Amendments that may be issued prior to the closing date. NAICS: Code 237990.
