About this opportunity
The United States Coast Guard seeks weekly trash and waste removal services for three stations (Annapolis, Crisfield, and Still Pond) in Maryland, with quotes due June 29, 2026 at noon EDT and questions due June 24, 2026 at noon EDT.
The procurement is set aside for Total Small Business and is classified as a commercial item under FAR Part 13.302. Award will be made to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote. NAICS code is 562111 (Solid Waste Collection); PSC is S205 (Housekeeping—Trash/Garbage Collection).
Place of performance spans three locations: Station Annapolis (3425 Thomas Point Road, Annapolis, Maryland 21403), Station Crisfield (810 Norris Harbor Drive, Crisfield, Maryland 21817), and Station Still Pond (21492 Stillpond Neck Road, Whorton, Maryland 21678). Station Annapolis and Crisfield each require an 8 cubic yard receptacle; Station Still Pond requires a 4 cubic yard receptacle. All services are scheduled for weekly Friday removal, with substitute day-prior service if Friday falls on a holiday. The contractor provides all labor, materials, equipment, and receptacle replacement at the start of each fiscal year and as needed. Work commences no later than five days after notice to proceed.
The period of performance is a one-year base (July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027) plus four one-year option periods extending through June 30, 2031. Service Contract Labor Standards apply using Department of Labor prevailing wage rates for Anne Arundel County, Somerset County, and Kent County.
Proposals require two volumes: a Technical Capabilities Volume (maximum five single-spaced pages, PDF or Word) and a Price Volume (using the provided Excel spreadsheet). Site visits are encouraged June 17–24, 2026, 9:30 AM to 3:00 PM EDT. Evaluation prioritizes technical capability first; acceptable quotes are then compared on price reasonableness.
