About this opportunity
The Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center seeks two waterjet cutters with firm fixed-price award to the lowest-conforming quotation, with quotes due June 19, 2026. This is a full and open competitive procurement for commercial items conducted under FAR Part 12 (Revolutionary FAR Overhaul).
Place of performance is Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The waterjet cutters must feature 94,000 psi intensifier pumps, a minimum 4-meter by 2-meter work envelope, 2 rotation axes on the cutter head, 3 gantry motion axes, abrasive media and water cutting capability controlled by a 5-axis motion system, and an integrated waste management system. Installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and training must be provided directly by the original equipment manufacturer, not through an intermediary. The government prefers simultaneous installation of both units but will accept sequential or back-to-back installation if necessary. Contractors are responsible for any necessary slab preparation or replacement work. The government anticipates requiring an electrical power upgrade and requests that contractors provide power requirements in their proposal. Contractors may conduct on-site visits; an AutoCAD drawing of the installation envelope is available upon request.
The NAICS code is 811310 with a $12.5 million size standard; PSC is 4940. Quotations must remain valid for 90 days after submission. Shipping is FOB Destination to Tinker AFB with no separate shipping charges permitted. Payment terms are Net 30 via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF). All offerors must be registered in SAM prior to quoting. Warranty information must be provided; early payment discounts may be offered but will not be evaluated. Amendment 2 extended the due date to June 18, 2026, and attached questions and answers and a PDF of installation space dimensions.
