About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Integrated Service Network 2 is conducting a Sources Sought Notice to identify potential contractors for cable television services at the East Orange VA Medical Center located at 385 East Tremont Ave, East Orange NJ 07018. This procurement falls under NAICS code 516120 (Television Broadcasting Stations) and PSC code W099 (Lease Or Rental Of Equipment- Miscellaneous). The government is seeking capability statements from contractors who can provide cable television services beginning October 1, 2025, and is particularly interested in determining the viability of setting aside this requirement for specific socio-economic categories. Contractors must identify their size status under the applicable NAICS code and provide documentation if they qualify as Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), or other special categories. Responses are due by July 30, 2025, and should be submitted to Contracting Specialist Megan Ross at Megan.Ross3@va.gov. Contractors should also identify any relevant Federal Supply Schedules and provide their company contact information and DUNS number.

Currently, no set-aside designation has been applied to this opportunity, though the government's market research has identified several small businesses capable of meeting the requirements and the Sources Sought specifically aims to determine set-aside viability. The contract structure includes a base year running from October 1, 2025, through September 30, 2026, with four additional option years, creating a potential five-year total contract period. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are mentioned in the notice, nor are any specific award values or budget ranges disclosed. The government emphasizes that this is an information-gathering exercise only and will not result in contract awards based solely on responses to this Sources Sought Notice. Contractors are encouraged to provide comprehensive capability statements that demonstrate their ability to deliver cable television services to the medical center facility.
