The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Integrated Service Network 10 (VISN 10) has published a Special Notice of Intent to Sole Source a federal contract to Olympus America Inc. for the Cincinnati Veterans Affairs Medical Center (CVAMC). The Network Contracting Office 10, located in Cincinnati, Ohio, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order under the Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) Part 12 for commercial products and services. The procurement covers a 36-month lease agreement (base year plus two option years) for Olympus medical equipment and related services for CVAMC's urology and endoscopic ultrasound departments. The requirement includes renewal of an existing Olympus Urology Scopes lease with rollover of current equipment, procurement of new Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS and EBUS) scopes, a maintenance agreement, and technical support. Although this is designated as a sole source award, the government has invited interested parties to submit letters demonstrating capability and rationale for competition consideration by March 10, 2026, at 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time to contracting specialist Barbara Robertson. The government reserves the right to verify credentials and conduct a competitive procurement if clear and convincing evidence supports such action.
