About this opportunity

The Department of the Army's Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) and Product Manager Integrated Visual Augmentation System (PdM IVAS) have issued a Special Notice for a Virtual Industry Day focused on IVAS Next, scheduled for February 11, 2025. This virtual event will be conducted via Microsoft Teams and follows a Request for Information (RFI) issued on January 22, 2025. The notice pertains to the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) Next program, which appears to be exploring future technological developments in military visual augmentation systems. The event will include discussions about Soldier Borne Mission Command (SBMC) requirements and acquisition strategies. The Special Notice was published on February 5, 2025, with a response deadline of February 28, 2025.

To participate in the Virtual Industry Day, contractors must meet specific eligibility criteria, including maintaining a current Facility Clearance at minimum Secret level or possessing a current DD Form 2345 Military Critical Technical Data Agreement. Companies are limited to two participating locations during the Microsoft Teams meeting, and registration is mandatory by 4:00 PM Eastern Time on February 7, 2025. Interested contractors must submit a completed registration form to designated points of contact, providing details such as company name, CAGE code, business capabilities, and contact information. The event's objectives include presenting an overview of IVAS Next program requirements, discussing technical aspects, and conducting a question-and-answer session. Notably, the government will not address questions about current IVAS systems or contracts, and phone call inquiries will not be accepted. Following the industry day, companies can request additional documentation by submitting a specific request form by February 28, 2025.
