About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is seeking to procure 10 units of a Video Interface Uni (NSN 7R-5836-996707330-P8) with Technical Data Package (TDP) Version 001. The procurement will be delivered FOB Origin and is structured as a non-competitive solicitation under FAR 6.302-1, which allows negotiation with a single source. Interested parties have 45 days from the publication date (until February 2, 2025) to submit proposals, quotations, or capability statements demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement. While the government intends to negotiate with a single source, they will consider all proposals received within the specified timeframe. Evaluation will be based on the ability to satisfy the government's specific technical requirements, with the final determination of competition solely at the government's discretion.

This pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside for small businesses or disadvantaged vendors. The contract does not appear to be using FAR Part 12 policies for commercial item acquisition, though vendors may identify commercial item capabilities within 15 days of the notice. Potential vendors can obtain necessary technical specifications and documentation through the DoD Single Stock Point (DODSSP) at the Document Automation and Production Service in Philadelphia, with multiple access methods including online ASSIST-Quick Search, website ordering, phone contact, or mail request. Interested parties can access technical documents by registering for a DODSSP Customer Account or contacting the ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-2667. While no specific contract value is mentioned, the procurement involves 10 units of specialized video interface equipment for military use.
