About this opportunity
The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker Air Force Base intends to renew maintenance subscriptions for Vericut software under a sole-source procurement from CGTech, with response deadline August 5, 2026. The 76th Commodity Management Wing (CMXG) seeks a base year plus two option years to support process improvement in machining operations.
The requirement consolidates two prior contracts (FA8125-23-P-0081 and FA8125-23-P-0077) into a single maintenance package covering four copies each of Vericut Verification, Multi-Axis, Auto-DIFF, Machine Simulation, CATIA V5 Interface, Force Milling, and GibbsCAM Interface modules; one copy each of CNC Machine Probing, 3D Live Interface, and CATIA V5 Model Interface; and three GibbsCAM Interface copies. A maintenance reinstatement fee applies to the base year only.
CGTech, a large business (CAGE 1WZ87) based at 9000 Research Drive, Irvine, California, is the original equipment manufacturer and sole distributor of Vericut software. The Government determined no reasonable alternative source exists, as CGTech holds exclusive manufacturing and distribution rights, does not authorize third-party resellers, and declines to sell proprietary data rights to federal agencies. This determination is documented in a Single Source Justification dated July 20, 2026. The procurement is issued under NAICS 513210 (Software Publishers) and PSC 7A21 (IT and Telecom—Business Application Software).
