About this opportunity

The United States Secret Service is seeking sources through RFI 70US0927RFI0001 for vehicle fleet maintenance and repair of its Kenworth protective equipment fleet, with responses due by 7:00 AM Eastern Time on November 10, 2026. The Set Aside line reads "No Set-Aside Used," and the notice identifies no incumbent. The effort consolidates maintenance previously bought through individual purchase card transactions. The RFI is for procurement planning only, and responses will not constitute proposals or result in award.

The anticipated structure is a hybrid purchase order with a 12-month base period and four 12-month options. It includes firm fixed price preventive maintenance CLINs for eleven units, firm fixed unit price corrective maintenance CLINs with a guaranteed minimum of $5,000 per period, and time-and-materials CLINs for unscheduled repairs with ceilings of $11,500 in the base year rising to $13,500 in option year four. The price template states a total contract value of $62,500. The fleet comprises eleven Kenworth trucks (seven box trucks and four A-frame trucks) at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. Contractor facilities must be within 50 miles of Andrews Air Force Base, and on-site diagnostics are required at secure facilities.

Requirements include Kenworth-authorized technicians with OEM diagnostic tools, with certification costs borne by the contractor, and recent experience maintaining Kenworth vehicles within the last five years. Contractor personnel must pass background checks (minimum Tier 1/NACI within five years). Mobile mechanic response is four hours during business hours (7 AM to 5 PM ET, Monday through Friday) and eight hours outside them. Respondents must also address personnel security clearance capability. The Government handles towing unless the contractor provides it at an approved estimate. Potential NAICS is 811111.

Responses must include company identification, UEI, CAGE code, business size designation, the Excel price template, and risk mitigation for the draft Statement of Work. Email them to Sarah Diamond (sarah.diamond@usss.dhs.gov) and Contracting Officer Yu-Jin Kim (yu-jin.kim@usss.dhs.gov).
