The US Forest on the Francis Marion & Sumter National Forest in South Carolina has a requirement for an Indefinite Deilivery - Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for Vegetation Management. This will be a basic award period with four option periods. Work to be covered under this IDIQ includes removal of invasive species of vegetation through a variety of methods including herbisde applications. We are planning on multiple awards IDIQ with a maximum award amount of $500,000 over a five year period. We estiamte that the solicitattion will be available on or about 29 March 2010. The purpose of this notice is to locate potential 8(a), HUBZONE, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses interested in performing Invasive Plant Control using herbicides on the Francis Marion & Sumter Natioanl Forests in South Carolina. We are planning on issuing a solicitation that would result in a multiple award IDIQ with a maximum award amount of $500,000 over a five year period.
If you are an 8(a), HUBZONE, or a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and are interested please submit the following infomation via email or fax about your firm
A. The Contractor must have demonstrated experience or education in plant identification to identify and differentiate non-native invasive plants from plants native to South Carolina.
B. The Contractor must be certified for herbicide application in the State of South Carolina.
C. The Contractor must exhibit a combination of experience and education to ensure that he or she it technically qualified to complete this work.
Also Include your company's name, point of contact and business type. Please reference the Solicitation Number AG-4670-S-10-0015 in your response and put to the attention of Mark Miller
We estimate that the solicitation will be issued on or about 1 March 2010
