Paragraph 1:
The Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration Southwestern Region is seeking a contractor to provide grounds maintenance services at the FAA's Non-Direction Beacon (NDB) and Medium Approach Lighting System REIL (MALSR) property located west of the Saipan International Airport. The contractor will be required to furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, supplies and tools needed to maintain the lawns, remove dead weeds, and dispose of all refuse and rubbish. Interested offerors must submit a response by August 28, 2024 and will be evaluated on criteria such as their overall service performance, response time, and problem-solving capabilities. A one-time site visit is scheduled for August 21, 2024.
Paragraph 2:
This is a total small business set-aside procurement, and all contractors must have an active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to receive the award. The period of performance is from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2029, with a base year (FY25) and four one-year option periods. The contract covers approximately 2 acres of grass area, including the NDB area and 6 MALSR light stations, and the place of performance is on the island of Saipan in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

Amendment 00001: The purpose of the amendment is to proivde:
-One time Site Visit information for the subject solicitation. RSVP is required.
-To incorporate the updated Wage Determiniation.
-To extend the bid due date to August 28, 2024, 6:00PM PDT
It is the responsibility of vendors to download and revie all updated attachments.
The purpose of this project is to provide grounds maintenance of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Non Direction Beacon (NDB) and Medium Approach Lighting System REIL (MALSR) property, located west of the Saipan International Airport.
The contractor will furnish all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, supplies and tools required to maintain the lawns.
Contractor will also provide transportation to and from work site for contractor personnel, equipment, materials, supplies and tools required. All vehicles, mowing and spray equipment or other machines that are equipped with sparkplugs will be provided with appropriate radio frequency (RF) suppression devices.
Dead weeds will be removed and properly disposed of. All refuse and rubbish, such as fallen trees, pruned tree limbs, shrubbery, cuttings and leaves resulting from the contractor's work will be removed from the FAA property and hauled away to a proper landfill.
All contractors must have an active registration in SAM in order to receive the award.
