About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Medical Command is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive repair and maintenance services for a Varian Linear Accelerator System located at Tripler Army Medical Center in Hawaii. Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with NAICS code 811210 and submit a detailed capability response by January 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM Hawaii Standard Time. The government will use these submissions to determine whether to proceed with a competitive or non-competitive procurement process under FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Commercial Items.
The procurement is not set aside for any specific category of business and has a size standard of $34 million. The anticipated contract period is one base year with four one-year option periods and an additional six-month option under FAR 52.217-8. The scope of work includes providing trained personnel, tools, hardware, firmware, materials, supplies, parts, and diagnostic equipment necessary to maintain the Linear Accelerator, Aria, and Eclipse systems in full operational condition according to original equipment manufacturer specifications. While no specific award value is mentioned, the comprehensive nature of the maintenance services suggests a potentially significant contract value. Interested vendors should note that the government is not obligated to award a contract or provide feedback on submissions, and proprietary or sensitive information should be excluded from response materials.
