Added: Jul 14, 2016 7:12 pm Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the vendor to perform power quality analysis and electrical troubleshooting to identify the cause of an intermittent failure of installed Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) located at the American Embassy in Suva, Fiji. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that is part of the Solicitation Package.

The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.


In adherence to requirements stipulated by U.S. Government Federal Law, FAR provision 52.204-7, vendors that enter into business with the US Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to obtain a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/


Quotations are to be sent to Contracting Officer, US Embassy Suva, 158 Princes Road, Suva or by email at GSO_Suva@state.gov. Include the Request for Quotation number SFJ60016Q0005 in the subject line. All quotations are due by 12 noon local [Suva] time August 16th 2016.

Added: Jun 29, 2016 7:39 pm Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Suva, Fiji will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website on 12 noon local time July 15th 2016.
