About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) is seeking repair and modification services for valves, specifically a regulating valve for fleet inventory. This solicitation, posted on April 4, 2025, with proposals due by May 5, 2025, requires contractors to provide repair services with a specific Repair Turnaround Time (RTAT) measurement. NAVSUP WSS is requesting quotes that include either firm-fixed price or Time, Travel, and Expenses (TT&E) pricing, along with estimated repair costs. Contractors must accurately report asset transactions within five business days of receipt and obtain final government inspection and acceptance within established RTAT parameters. The evaluation will focus on proposed repair timelines, capacity constraints, and pricing strategies.

This contract opportunity is not set aside for any specific business category and falls under the NAICS category 332919 for Other Metal Valve and Pipe Fitting Manufacturing. The procurement involves valves classified under PSC 4820 for Nonpowered Valves, with potential national defense and emergency preparedness implications. While specific award values are not detailed, the solicitation indicates a comprehensive approach to asset repair and management. Contractors will be expected to physically receive assets, process them through the Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV) system, and complete repairs within contractually defined timelines. The contract will be considered executed when deposited in mail, transmitted by facsimile, or sent through electronic commerce methods, with government acceptance constituting a bilateral agreement.
