About this opportunity
The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 21 has issued a Limited Sources Justification for relocation services at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The contract, valued at $461,186.71, was awarded to Coronado Distribution Company, Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, for a six-month period from September 30, 2025, to March 29, 2026. The scope of work includes office furniture relocation and installation services, requiring one working supervisor and three laborers with staffing flexibility based on project needs. The sole source justification is based on the contractor's specialized qualifications and prior successful performance at the Sacramento VA Medical Center, including their unique knowledge of VA workspace configurations. The contract is awarded under Federal Supply Schedule authority FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B), which permits single-source awards when services are highly specialized, serving as an interim solution while the VA finalizes long-term space and furniture modernization contracts.
