About this file

This document is a Limited Sources Justification for a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) task order for relocation services. The six-month contract, valued at $461,186.71, will be awarded to Coronado Distribution Company, Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), for furniture relocation and installation services at the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The contract will require one working supervisor and three laborers, with flexibility to adjust staffing based on project needs.

The justification highlights Coronado Distribution's unique qualifications, including prior successful performance at the Sacramento VA Medical Center and specialized knowledge of VA workspace configurations. The contract is being awarded under a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract (36C10G18D0071) using FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B) authority, which allows for a single source when services are highly specialized. The period of performance is from 9/30/25 to 3/29/26, with the primary purpose of maintaining continuity while the VA finalizes long-term space and furniture modernization contracts.
