About this opportunity
The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia is seeking a contractor to provide repair, evaluation, and modification services for various V-22 aircraft landing gear components and related subassemblies over a five-year period. This is a sole-source procurement under FAR 6.302-1, with the Government intending to negotiate exclusively with Canadian Commercial Corporation (CAGE 98247), though the notice invites all responsible sources to submit capability statements within 15 days of publication (by March 4, 2026). The Government justifies this approach because it lacks the necessary technical data to perform the required repairs internally. Contractors must demonstrate capability to repair specific National Item Identification Numbers (NIINs) and components as detailed in the attached pricing exhibit. Source Approval is required for all prospective contractors, and applicants must submit Source Approval documentation concurrently with their proposals using the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Award decisions will not be delayed pending source approval processing. Inquiries should be directed to the Point of Contact, Timika Nicholson, at Timika.D.Nicholson.CIV@us.navy.mil.
This procurement includes no set-aside designations and targets Canadian Commercial Corporation as the intended sole-source recipient, though other sources may express interest. The contract encompasses five distinct line items: two retractable landing gear assemblies (priced at $168,183 and $167,765 respectively), a piston subassembly ($40,182), a cylinder subassembly ($61,451), and a shock strut assembly ($211,006). The first four items require approximately 4 units annually with turnaround times ranging from 112 to 266 days, while the shock strut assembly demands significantly higher volume at 30 units annually with a 344-day turnaround requirement. The total estimated value across all five line items over the contract period exceeds $1.8 million. This five-year Long Term Contract is structured to provide sustained logistics support for V-22 aircraft maintenance and operational readiness throughout the contract performance period.
