About this file

This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole-source contract issued by NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia for repair and modification services of various National Item Identification Numbers (NIINs) supporting the V-22 aircraft. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate exclusively with Canadian Commercial Corporation (CAGE 98247) under FAR 6.302-1 using FAR Part 15 procedures. The contract will be structured as a 5-year Long Term Contract (LTC). The Government lacks the necessary technical data internally to perform the required repairs, which justifies the single-source procurement approach.

All responsible sources may submit capability statements within 15 days of publication to express interest in the opportunity; however, this notice is not a competitive solicitation and the Government retains sole discretion to proceed with the intended sole-source award. Prospective contractors must be aware that Source Approval is required, and new sources must submit approval documentation concurrent with their proposals using the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Repair. Award will not be delayed pending source approval. The contracting officer is Timika Nicholson, and inquiries regarding source approval procedures should be directed to Timika.D.Nicholson.CIV@us.navy.mil. A list of specific NIINs requiring repair is attached but not included in this document.
