About this opportunity
The Department of the Navy Naval Air Systems Command is seeking information on the feasibility of soliciting contracts from industry for a test stand capable of testing both left-hand and right-hand V-22 PropRotor Gearbox Input Quill Assemblies. The test stand must include all mechanical, electrical, software, and control systems, as well as ancillary subsystems required to test the PropRotor (PRGB for the V-22 Aircraft) Input Quill. The government is requesting feedback on the vendor's ability to develop the requirement using the existing layout, power, and building space, as well as any recommended modifications to the Statement of Work and information on commercial products that could provide similar capabilities.
This is a Request for Information (RFI) only, and there is no set-aside designation. The government anticipates awarding a contract within the next 4-6 months, with delivery and installation of the test stand within 9 months after the date of award. No funds are available to pay for the preparation of responses, and any information submitted by respondents is strictly voluntary.
