About this opportunity
The United States Marine Corps intends to solicit a three-year UTV maintenance contract at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, with responses due by July 28, 2026. No set-aside is anticipated.
Work is performed on-site at Parris Island, Weapons and Field Training Battalion. The contractor must maintain 14 UTVs consisting of five 2021 Polaris Ranger 1000s, five 2022 Polaris Ranger Crew SP570s, three 2024 Polaris Ranger 570EFIs, one 2018 John Deere XUV 855M, and one 2024 John Deere XUV 875M. All maintenance must comply with original-equipment-manufacturer specifications and be performed by qualified mechanics during normal working hours (0730–1600 Monday–Friday, excluding Federal Holidays).
The contractor supplies all tools, parts (oil, lubricants, gaskets, filters, hoses, hardware, fasteners), and waste disposal. Semiannual maintenance is tiered: Tier 1 covers 12 service items including oil and filter changes, inspections, diagnostic scans, differential oil replacement, lubrication, air filter service, CVT belt inspection, and fastener tightening; Tier 2 adds valve clearance adjustment and spark plug replacement. Routine maintenance shall not exceed four days per semiannual cycle. No more than three vehicles may be off-site simultaneously for transportation.
The contractor must track each asset by serial number and hours, submit maintenance checklists after each cycle, and provide detailed reports within seven days identifying any repairs outside contract scope with cost estimates. Vendor personnel are subject to background checks for felonies and open warrants. Non-routine maintenance is handled separately through alternative vendor selection. The Government reserves audit rights.
