About this opportunity

The United States Marshals Service is seeking tactical gear and equipment to support initial training for Bailiff Deputy United States Marshals (BDUSMI) classes 2601-2602, specifically for mission-critical activities related to apprehending fugitives. The procurement includes 96 units of various tactical equipment such as duty belts, OC spray pouches, weapon lights, holsters, magazine carriers, tactical gloves, electronic headsets, handcuffs, eye protection, and wheeled duffel bags. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) with a valid CAGE code and submit quotes on company letterhead with specific required documentation including a signed SF-1449 form with pricing and completed clauses. The solicitation will be evaluated using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology under NAICS code 315990 (Apparel Accessories and Other Apparel Manufacturing) with a size standard of 600 employees. The quote submission deadline is August 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM Central Time, with delivery required by October 24, 2025.

This procurement is designated as a 100% small business set-aside under the Total Small Business program, restricting competition to qualifying small businesses. The contract period of performance spans from August 25, 2025 to March 27, 2026, with the tactical equipment to be delivered to the U.S. Marshals Service Training Academy located in Glynco, Georgia (Brunswick, GA 31524). The solicitation does not specify the total contract value or identify any incumbent contractors. The procurement supports the training of new deputy marshals who will be engaged in the agency's core mission of fugitive apprehension and other law enforcement activities. The relatively short turnaround time from solicitation posting to quote submission (nine days) and the expedited delivery requirement suggest an urgent operational need for this training equipment.
