The Maritime Administration seeks a contractor to provide tailor and press services for uniforms at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy campus in Kings Point, New York. The contractor shall size, fit, tailor, prepare, adjust and repair uniforms for midshipmen throughout their tenure. Services also include annual striping and pressing of uniforms as needed. The purpose of the amendment is to upload responses to questions and site visit schedule.
Site Visit Info
Due to inquiries about conducting a site visit, a schedule is posted in regards to equipment and layout. Physical site visits are encouraged for this requirement to obtain adequate knowledge of the areas that will be serviced and for submission of an adequate proposal prior to the response due date. If offerors intend to sub-contract the project, the sub-contractor must also attend the site visit. All site visit attendees must adhere to USMMA regulations regarding COVID-19 protocols. A mask must be worn while on campus.

Interested offerors must present identification at the Front Guard Entrance Booth (Guard Shack). Either site visit POC will meet offerors at or near the guard shack.
