About this opportunity

This solicitation from the USDA Forest Service Flathead National Forest seeks offers for approximately 120 tons of Certified Noxious Weed Seed Free Hay for delivery to the Spotted Bear Ranger Station in Montana between June 30th and September 30th, 2024. Offerors must provide pricing for hay in small bales between 75-95 pounds, either with or without delivery and stacking services. The agency will evaluate offers based on conformance to specifications, past performance, and price. Questions are due no later than February 27th, with proposals due by March 15th.

The requirement is set aside totally for small businesses. Hay must meet technical standards for bale size, weight, and composition and be certified free of noxious weeds and seeds according to Montana regulations. The place of performance is Hungry Horse, Montana. Up to 125 tons of hay may be awarded under NAICS 112411 for a period of approximately 90 days, with an estimated budget between $30,000-$50,000. The amendment modifies the delivery location and changes the bid due date to March 15th, 2024.
