About this opportunity

The US Coast Guard, part of the Department of Homeland Security, is seeking a contractor to deliver 2,400 gallons of approved lubricating oil to the USCGC Stone via truck transport. The contractor must supply one of four approved lubricant types: Shell Rotella T3 Fleet 15W40, BP/Castrol Vecton 15W40, Chevron/Texaco Oils Delo 400LE 15W40, or ExxonMobil Oils Delvax 1300 Super 15W40. Essential requirements include providing 125 feet of hose and a 2-inch cam lock female fitting to connect with the cutter's male cam lock fitting. The contractor must comply with EPA and OSHA requirements for transporting lubricants over water and provide a lube oil analysis specification sheet for acceptance. Proposals are due by July 1, 2025, with a tight timeline for response preparation.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and no incumbent contractors are identified in the solicitation. While no specific contract value is disclosed, the scope involves delivering 2,400 gallons of marine-grade lubricating oil with associated equipment and services. The performance period is extremely narrow, scheduled for July 1-7, 2025, with delivery required between 0800-1000 hours during that window. Work will be performed at Pier Papa, 1050 Register Street, North Charleston, South Carolina 29405, where the USCGC Stone will be docked. The contractor will coordinate with CWO Sadie Gailey, the ship's Support Department Head/Supply Officer, for specific location and timing details following contract award.
