About this opportunity
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking qualified contractors to supply two Temperature Control Valves (AMOT model G-valve, bronze, 3-way, 6" size) for installation on two Coast Guard Cutters. The valves will replace existing equipment on the CGC JAMES RANKIN and CGC KATHERINE WALKER during scheduled maintenance operations. The procurement falls under NAICS code 336611 (Ship Building and Repairing) and PSC code 2090 (Miscellaneous Ship and Marine Equipment). The proposal due date is March 26, 2026, and prospective contractors should direct technical questions to LTJG Kevin Y. Colon, the Availability Project Manager, at 787-914-4827 or Kevin.Y.Colon@uscg.mil. No specific evaluation criteria beyond meeting the technical specifications have been disclosed in the available documentation.
This is a total small business set-aside opportunity with no identified incumbent contractors. No explicit award value or budget range is provided in the solicitation notice. The contract requires delivery of two identical valve units to two separate locations: the CGC JAMES RANKIN at 2401 Hawkins Point Road in Baltimore, Maryland, and the CGC KATHERINE WALKER at 85 Port Terminal Boulevard in Bayonne, New Jersey. The 15-week delivery timeline is a critical requirement beginning from the notice of award date. Performance of this contract will occur at these Coast Guard facilities, with primary points of contact established at each cutter location to facilitate coordination and acceptance of the delivered equipment.
