About this opportunity

The U.S. Coast Guard Yard is seeking a contractor to deliver and install one fabric enclosure at their Baltimore facility, as outlined in solicitation 70Z04025QYARDTENT. The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard requires a complete turnkey solution that includes the fabric enclosure structure, all necessary labor, supervision, materials, and tools for installation. Based on Amendment A00001, the enclosure must feature specific door configurations including a 30' x 30' electronically-operated disappearing fabric door and a standard steel man door (36" x 80") for each end half, with fabric roll-up doors being acceptable as mobility takes precedence over rigid door design. The government intends to award one fixed-price contract to responsible sources submitting quotations by the October 10, 2025 deadline. Site visits are available during two designated periods (September 15-19 and September 22-25, 2025) from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM EST, coordinated through Kenneth Tankersley at Kenneth.C.Tankersley2@uscg.mil.

This procurement does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all responsible sources. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the solicitation materials. The contract covers delivery and installation of a single fabric enclosure unit, though specific budget ranges or estimated contract values are not disclosed in the available documentation. Performance will take place at the U.S. Coast Guard Yard located at 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000, specifically in the Curtis Bay area of Baltimore. The opportunity falls under NAICS code 332311 (Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing) and PSC code 5410 (Prefabricated And Portable Buildings), indicating the specialized nature of the required construction and manufacturing capabilities.
