About this opportunity
The US Coast Guard Regional Support Team – Southwest seeks a contractor to correct hazardous electrical conditions and install new dedicated convenience outlet circuits at USCG Station Bodega Bay, California, with proposals due July 17, 2026. This is a 100% small business set-aside, firm fixed-price purchase order with estimated value less than $25,000.
Place of performance is Bodega Bay, California. The work includes installing approximately 325 linear feet of conduit and cable routing, eight new 110V dedicated convenience outlet circuits, and junction boxes serving the Watch Room, Mess Deck, Galley, COM Room, and associated attic spaces. The facility currently experiences repeated circuit breaker trips and loss of power due to improperly wired and overloaded circuits originating from a junction box in the Mess Deck CMU wall. Investigation revealed unsafe voltage conditions, including 240V supplied to 110V receptacles, absence of neutral and grounding conductors, evidence of arcing, and shared circuits supplying lighting and convenience outlets. All work must comply with the National Electrical Code, OSHA regulations, and applicable federal, state, and local codes.
The NAICS code is 238210, Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors. Submittals are due no later than 10 days from award, and all work must be completed within 30 calendar days of the start date. Site visits are available Monday, July 6 and Tuesday, July 7, 2026; coordinate with MK1 Joshua Florez at 707-875-3596 or 760-702-2343. Electronic email submission is the only acceptable method. Award will be made to the lowest-priced acceptable offeror based on reasonable technical approach and complete, reasonable pricing. Amendment 001 revised the Statement of Work and confirmed the July 17 closing date.
