The lessor must be able to accommodate the specific mooring requirements for the medium-sized cutter (225-282 ft), three Fast Response Cutters (175 ft each), and one SPC-TB boat, including providing fendering, electrical, water, and sewage services, as well as laydown space, parking, and other support services. The temporary mooring lease is required from January 2025 through September 2027, with options to renew for an additional 2 years. The Coast Guard will fund all utilities and considers all offers, including those that can only berth some of the vessels, as long as the offered space meets government requirements for fire, safety, accessibility, and sustainability.
