About this opportunity

The United States Coast Guard Forces Rio Grande (CGF-RG) is procuring mobile facilities, storage, and support services to establish temporary forward operating units along the Rio Grande River in Texas. The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Coast Guard seeks to deploy climate-controlled workspaces and secure storage platforms across six locations to support operations that deter unlawful immigration and preserve safety of life at sea in cooperation with the U.S. Border Patrol. Key contract requirements include the provision of 40-foot by 12-foot office trailers with at least 300 square feet of internal space, 20-foot storage containers, site preparation services, emergency repair response within 24 hours, and potential supplementary equipment such as generators, portable light towers, and portable restrooms. The solicitation will be evaluated using a Lowest Price/Technically Acceptable methodology, with awards made to offerors demonstrating technical acceptability and fair and reasonable pricing. The proposal due date is January 20, 2026, at 4:00 PM, and all offerors must be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov) prior to submission.

This acquisition is designated as a Total Small Business Set Aside, specifically for Women-Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) or Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Businesses (EDWOSB), with a NAICS code of 493110 and firm fixed-price contract type. No incumbent contractor information is provided in the solicitation materials. The contract will be executed across six divisional locations: Rio Grande City, McAllen, Harlingen, Brownsville (two locations), and CGF-RG headquarters in Weslaco, all within the Rio Grande Valley region of Texas. The contract term is one year with three optional one-year renewal periods, requiring the contractor to maintain equipment, provide a dedicated project manager, and be prepared to relocate units as operationally necessary. Specific budget or award values are not disclosed in the solicitation documentation; however, the scope encompasses comprehensive facility requirements including office equipment, secure weapons storage for up to 40 firearms, and various optional support services at multiple locations.
