About this opportunity

The Administrative Office of the United States Courts (AOUSC) is seeking a virtual, live online instructor-led training course on Automating Administration with PowerShell for its Defender Services Office (DSO). The solicitation targets IT personnel and requires a comprehensive 40-hour training course covering PowerShell administration, Active Directory management, scripting, Azure PowerShell, and remote administration techniques. The government will evaluate quotes based on two primary factors: technical acceptability and total price, with the intent to award to the lowest-priced technically acceptable quote. Quotes are due by 2:00 PM Eastern Time on May 7, 2025, with the requirement that the first training class must commence within 45 days of contract award. The solicitation follows small purchase procedures outlined in the Guide to Judiciary Policy and is not subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) standards.

The contract opportunity is unrestricted and not set aside for small businesses, with a total estimated capacity for 100 Federal Defender IT personnel. The training will consist of 12 classes within a 12-month performance period, scheduled from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026, with each class limited to a maximum of 20 students. Classes will be conducted in virtual format across North American time zones, running daily from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The place of performance is Washington, DC, though the training will be conducted online. Invoicing will be conducted per student with confirmed attendance, and the contractor must provide digital course materials, online registration capabilities, certificates of completion, and a practice lab environment. The contract will be awarded as a firm fixed-price procurement, with the specific award value dependent on the lowest-priced technically acceptable quote submitted.
