About this opportunity
This Request for Information from USAID/Zambia seeks local Zambian organizations' input on approaches to achieve 95/95/95 targets for HIV treatment and prevention by September 2019 to inform future programming. USAID and PEPFAR aim for 95% of people knowing their HIV status, 95% of those initiated on treatment, and 95% of those on treatment being virally suppressed. Respondents must submit a one-page cover letter and three-page capability statement by October 22nd highlighting their organization's ability to support these goals, as well as HIV prevention services. Submissions must come from organizations incorporated in Zambia owned at least 75% by Zambian citizens, with at least 75% Zambian staff and senior staff, and if a board, at least 51% Zambian citizen members.
There is no set-aside designated for this opportunity. Respondents' submissions will help USAID shape future procurements in Zambia to achieve epidemic control of HIV through local partners with strong community ties. Information provided will not result in an award but rather inform programming with the aim of meeting 95/95/95 targets by September 2019 to curb the HIV epidemic in Zambia.
