About this opportunity

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Jacksonville District is conducting market research to identify potential contractors capable of transforming existing cubicle spaces into five fully enclosed offices within their Florida facility. The project involves installing floor-to-ceiling walls, doors, and glass partitions at three separate locations: three joined cubicle spaces will be converted into three individual offices, one corner cubicle will become a single office, and one standard cubicle will be transformed into another single office. All construction must preserve natural light transfer from existing windows within each workspace area. The procurement falls under NAICS code 337211 (Wood Office Furniture Manufacturing) and PSC code 7110 (Office Furniture), indicating the government views this primarily as a furniture and workspace configuration project. This sources sought notice does not constitute a formal solicitation, and responses are due by August 22, 2025, with no financial responsibility assumed by the government for submission costs.

This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, with particular interest in capabilities from Section 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) concerns. The procurement specifically requires the creation of exactly five enclosed office spaces through the conversion of existing cubicle configurations. No current contractors or incumbents are identified in the notice, nor are any budget ranges or award values disclosed at this pre-solicitation stage. The government has provided supporting documentation through a technical drawing file titled "A.02_EN-D DOS office build 17JUL2025_Walls_AC.pdf" to assist potential respondents in understanding the scope requirements. The market research results will inform the agency's final procurement method determination for this office build-out project.
