About this opportunity

The U.S. Forest Service is soliciting High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) piping and related water distribution components through a new procurement requirement. The agency requires standard water piping materials including HDPE pipes, fittings, and associated hardware such as air vent and vacuum relief valves for water distribution systems. Vendors must maintain active registration in SAM.gov at the time of award and will receive payment through IPP.gov only after delivery is completed. The contract will be awarded using "Best Value" evaluation criteria to determine the most advantageous proposal to the government. All questions and quotes must be submitted to Chris Wissen at christopher.wissen@usda.gov by September 11, 2025, with the solicitation closing on the same date.

This opportunity is designated as a Total Small Business set-aside, limiting participation to qualifying small business entities. No incumbent contractors or previous award values are referenced in the solicitation materials. The contract requires delivery within 30 days after award, indicating an expedited timeline for procurement and installation. Work will be performed in Fredonia, Arizona 86022, suggesting the piping materials are needed for Forest Service operations or infrastructure projects in that geographic area.
