About this opportunity
The Department of the Army Medical Command is seeking a Cost per Reportable Result (CPRR) contract for urinalysis analyzers at the General Leonard Wood Community Hospital (GLWCH) in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. The procurement involves one Primary Chemistry Analyzer and one Microscopic Analyzer that will function as an integrated urinalysis system for the hospital's Pathology Department. The contract requires a tabletop analyzer capable of processing up to 50 patients per hour, with specific dimensional requirements and the ability to interface with the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and MHS Genesis. The system must perform approximately 9,000 annual urinalysis tests and 3,600 microscopic analyses, covering comprehensive testing parameters including color, specific gravity, pH, glucose, protein, and cellular enumeration. While specific evaluation criteria are not explicitly detailed, the contract appears to emphasize technical capabilities, system integration, and operational readiness.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this contract opportunity. The contract is scheduled to run through fiscal year 2026, with delivery and installation required within 30 calendar days after contract award and full operational readiness mandated by October 1, 2025. Reagent delivery terms are strict, requiring standard orders within 7 calendar days and emergency orders within 24 hours. The government will not retain ownership of the analyzers at the contract's conclusion, suggesting a lease-based arrangement. While precise award values are not specified, the contract includes comprehensive services such as on-site training, equipment maintenance, reagents, consumables, and unlimited telephonic assistance. The total annual testing volume suggests a significant ongoing operational commitment for the new hospital facility.
