About this opportunity
The Bureau of Reclamation seeks to procure uninterruptible power supply systems with disconnect switches and temperature monitoring equipment, with proposals due October 1, 2026. The procurement is a 100 percent Women-Owned Small Business set-aside with economically disadvantaged women-owned small business preference.
Equipment will be delivered to two locations: UPS and disconnect switch equipment to Black Canyon Dam in Emmett, Idaho, and temperature monitors to the Upper Snake Field Office in Heyburn, Idaho. Delivery is scheduled for January 29, 2027, with deliveries accepted Monday through Thursday, 0700–1600 hours, excluding federal holidays. Liftgate service and inside delivery are available.
The solicitation requires one 8kVA UPS with batteries (Schneider Electric SRT8KXLTUS or approved equivalent), one 8kVA disconnect switch (2-pole, 60A, 240V AC), one 20kVA UPS with batteries (Schneider Electric SURT20KRMXLT or approved equivalent), one 20kVA disconnect switch (3-pole, 125A input/100A output, 208V AC), three Yokogawa DX2030-9 paperless temperature monitors with 30 RTD inputs each, and three Yokogawa DX2048-9 paperless temperature monitors with 48 RTD inputs each. The 8kVA unit must be double-conversion online with 208V input/output, 6U or smaller form factor, and 30 minutes runtime at half load. The 20kVA unit requires 208V three-phase input/output, 14U or smaller rackmount form factor, and includes specified outlet configurations. All equipment must support RS-485/232 Modbus RTU or Modbus TCP/IP communication. Vendors must submit pricing via email with manufacturer information, cut sheets with highlighted compliance details, and lead times; failure to provide required information results in non-responsive determination. NAICS code 335999; PSC 6110. Contact: Terry Mest, 509-633-9327, terry_mest@ios.doi.gov.
