About this opportunity

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Acquisition & Grants Office, Western Acquisition Division-Boulder, has issued a Special Notice to negotiate a sole source contract with FP2FIRE of Golden, CO. The purpose of this contract is for the provision of nonpersonal services for the preventative maintenance on the Hydrogen Inflation Safety System at multiple Upper Air Building sites that have been converted from helium to hydrogen as the primary lifting gas.

The period of performance will be a base year from 8/1/2024 to 7/31/2025, with an option year from 8/1/2025 to 7/31/2026. While this is not a request for competitive proposals, firms that believe they can fully meet the government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within 15 days after publication of this synopsis. NOAA will evaluate such documentation solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
