About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) has awarded a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Delivery Order (N0001926F1032) valued at $4,974,733.39 to Maritime Surveillance Associates (MSA) of Brunswick, Maine, for engineering support and upgrades to the Global Reconstruction and Acoustic Measurement Suite (GRAMS) baseline system. The 60-month contract will expand the system's usability for future sensor integration, enhance mission planning capabilities through software recommendations, and sustain the software baseline by correcting deficiencies identified during testing and operational use. The software upgrades will maintain compatibility with existing models, equipment, and databases without interference. This sole-source award was justified under Title 10 U.S.C. Section 3204(a)(1) based on NAVAIR's determination that MSA is the only responsible source capable of executing the complex acoustic intelligence and advanced mathematics requirements associated with GRAMS development and migration to a cloud-native solution.
