About this opportunity
The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a five-year Basic Ordering Agreement to Maritime Surveillance Associates for upgrades to the Global Reconstruction and Acoustic Measurement Suite. This system provides Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft the ability to extract measured sound data for the Office of Naval Intelligence and warfighters. As the original equipment manufacturer, only MSA possesses the requisite technical data and experience to meet requirements. The government will consider responses within 15 days of this notice's publication solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
This opportunity is set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. MSA, located in Brunswick, Maine, is identified as a potential incumbent due to its proprietary data and role as the system's OEM. The BOA would have a period of performance from fiscal year 2025 through 2029. Interested subcontractors should contact MSA's Mike Worthington.
