About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Aviation is seeking to update and add pricing for five specific Defense Logistics Repair (DLR) National Stock Number (NSN) items to an existing long-term contract with Northrup Grumman Systems Corporation (Contract SPRTA1-21-D-0001). The specific items include a multifunction receiver, synthesizer, radar data processor, reference generator, and power supply, which will be priced for calendar years 2026 and 2027. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under FAR 6.302 authority, though interested vendors may identify their capability to meet the requirement within 15 days of the notice. Electronic procedures will be used for the solicitation, with all responsible sources permitted to submit capability statements or proposals. The key point of contact is Kris Bruhwiler, who can be reached at kristine.bruhler@us.af.mil or 405-855-3515, with proposals being considered if submitted within 45 days of the synopsis publication.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this procurement, and the government will not be using Part 12 policies for commercial item acquisition. The contract involves five specific NSN items with varying quantities: the multifunction receiver requires 1-4 units, synthesizer 3-5 units, radar data processor 7-15 units, reference generator 11-12 units, and power supply 4 units across the two calendar years. The solicitation is specifically for items under NAICS category 334412 (Bare Printed Circuit Board Manufacturing) and PSC category 5895 (Miscellaneous Communication Equipment). The procurement will utilize the existing contract vehicle SPRTA121D0001 under Cage Code 97942, with the full solicitation expected to be posted on May 30, 2025. Potential vendors should note that the government retains sole discretion in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement based on responses received.
