The government emphasizes this is strictly a market research effort and not a solicitation, with no proposals requested at this time.

This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors regardless of business size or socioeconomic status. No incumbent contractor or current service provider is identified in the documentation, suggesting this may be a new requirement or the government is exploring alternative sourcing strategies. The contract structure is planned as a one-year firm-fixed-price arrangement, though no specific budget range or estimated contract value is disclosed in the available materials. The scope involves maintenance support for a single piece of equipment with the specific serial number ED0348000287, indicating a relatively focused and limited scope of work. The service timeline would commence upon contract award and continue for a full year, with the contractor required to maintain the UPS system at the specified Maxwell AFB location. Companies interested in responding should classify their capabilities under NAICS code 33411 for Computer and Peripheral Equipment Manufacturing and PSC code J061 for maintenance and repair of electric wire and power distribution equipment.
