About this opportunity

The Department of the Navy Naval Supply Systems Command is procuring brand-name uninterruptible power supply parts specifically manufactured by Vertiv Corporation through solicitation N0024425QS111. The procurement consists of six line items including various capacitors, retro kit fans, and wire-wound resistors for a Liebert 130KVA Npower Uninterruptible Power Supply system. All items must be new, approved parts with clear traceability documentation back to the original equipment manufacturer, and contractors must provide a Certificate of Conformance in accordance with FAR clause 52.246-15. The evaluation will use a lowest-priced, technically acceptable method, with technical acceptability determined by the ability to provide new manufactured items directly from Vertiv or an OEM-approved source. Quotations are due by August 28, 2025, with delivery required within 60 days after receipt of order, though early and partial deliveries are acceptable.

This procurement is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 334416 with a size standard of 550 employees, meaning only small business sources will be considered for award. The solicitation specifies quantities ranging from 4 to 36 units across the six contract line items, including 12 units of 7900 UF capacitors, 15 units of 28 UF capacitors, 36 units of 90 UF capacitors, 12 retro kit fans, 12 wire-wound resistors, and 4 units of 490000 UF capacitors. Performance will take place in Lemoore, California, and the government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order. The solicitation operates as a brand-name requirement using FAR 13.106-1(b) authority, with only Vertiv Corporation parts (CAGE Code 1EDC2) being acceptable. No specific contract value is disclosed in the available documentation, though the procurement follows simplified acquisition procedures under FAR parts 12 and 13.
