About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Space Command's 30th Contracting Squadron is conducting market research through this Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential contractors capable of providing genuine Unify OpenScape Voice V9 software and licensing solutions. This pre-solicitation notice seeks vendors with specific capabilities including JITC certification expertise and compliance, system integration and installation services, and ongoing technical support and maintenance for IP-based communications systems. The government is particularly interested in understanding vendor capabilities for joint venturing or partnering arrangements to meet the technical requirements. Interested parties must respond by September 3, 2025, though this RFI does not guarantee a future solicitation will be issued. The procurement falls under NAICS code 334210 for Telephone Apparatus Manufacturing and PSC code 7G21 for IT and Telecom Network Digital Products. All response costs will be at the vendor's expense, and the government will not accept unsolicited offers at this time.

This opportunity does not utilize any set-aside designations and is open to all qualified contractors regardless of size. However, the government specifically requests information about small business participation plans, including details on joint ventures or partnerships, to help determine whether a future small business set-aside might be appropriate. No incumbent contractors, specific award values, budget ranges, or quantities are mentioned in this pre-solicitation notice. The procurement timeline indicates responses are due within four days of posting, suggesting the government may be moving quickly through its market research phase. The focus on Unify OpenScape Voice V9 indicates this is likely an upgrade or replacement of existing voice communication infrastructure rather than a new implementation.
