About this opportunity

The 179th Combat Wing/Mission Support Center (Ohio Army National Guard) is soliciting a firm-fixed-price purchase order for a UBM-240 CPU motherboard assembly with certified installation and on-site K-SPAN training, with quotations due July 17, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. EST. The procurement is sole-source to M.I.C. Industries under RFO FAR 12.102(a), justified by the proprietary nature of the UBM-240 system and M.I.C. Industries' exclusive worldwide patent and trademark; however, all responsible sources may submit capability statements or quotations for consideration.

Place of performance for the motherboard installation is Mansfield, OH, and on-site training occurs at Camp James A. Garfield in Ravenna, OH. The two contract line items are the UBM MAIN CPU BOARD ASSY (V1 Chip Version, Part Number 101-5975-A) with installation by a certified M.I.C. technician, and three days of on-site training from a certified M.I.C. representative for Type 3 K-SPAN erection. The NAICS code is 333120 (Construction Machinery Manufacturing) with a size standard of 1,250 employees; the procurement is not set-aside for small business. Market research included a Sources Sought Synopsis published June 25 to July 1, 2026, which yielded no alternative capable vendors.

Quotations must include firm-fixed pricing for both CLINs (including shipping and travel costs), company information and active UEI/CAGE Code, and mandatory written documentation from M.I.C. Industries proving authorized reseller status and confirming certified technician execution. Award evaluation is based on technical capability including mandatory OEM certification, past performance from the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) per DFARS 252.204-7024, and price fairness and reasonableness. Delivery terms are FOB Destination.
