About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 1 has issued a Special Notice for a Centralized Clinical Placement System contract. The notice concerns a yearly subscription service for the Massachusetts Centralized Clinical Placement (CCP) Faculty Database, which is designed to connect nursing programs with faculty candidates to fill vacant positions. The system facilitates clinical placement management between healthcare organizations and educational programs, specifically focusing on opportunities for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. The contract will be administered through the VA Boston Health System and covers all of its campuses. The solicitation is classified under the Product Service Code U005 for Education/Training fees and falls within the NAICS category of Professional Organizations.

The primary objective of this Special Notice is to secure a firm fixed-price contract for continued access to the CCP Faculty Database from June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026. Contractors should note the response deadline of May 8, 2025 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time, with contract specialist Ophelia Wilson available for potential inquiries. The system is specifically an independent State of Massachusetts platform that does not interact with VA IT systems, allowing local colleges and universities to access clinical placement opportunities. Eligibility appears open, with no specific set-aside restrictions mentioned in the documentation. The CCP system provides a collaborative platform where nursing programs can post open positions, search faculty candidate profiles, and respond to inquiries, while faculty candidates can similarly post profiles and explore potential placement opportunities. This initiative aims to build faculty capacity and streamline the clinical placement process for healthcare educational institutions.
