About this opportunity
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District is seeking a full-service lease for a multi-branch Armed Forces Career Center in Fairfield, California. The procurement requires a professional retail office space between 3,750 and 5,000 rentable square feet, located within a specific geographic boundary defined by Highway Canterbury Drive, Travis Boulevard, Pennsylvania Avenue, and Highway 80. The lease term will not exceed five years and must include designated on-site parking for up to fourteen government vehicles available 24/7. Interested respondents, including building owners and their exclusive representatives, must submit electronic responses by 5:00 PM PDT on December 18, 2024, directly to Natasha Bass, the Realty Specialist. Representatives must include documentation proving their exclusive right to represent the building owner, such as an exclusivity agreement or representation letter.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designation for this opportunity, meaning it is open to all qualified offerors. The contract falls under the NAICS category for Lessors of Nonresidential Buildings and the Product Service Code for Lease/Rental of Office Buildings. While specific award value is not disclosed, the requirements suggest a standard government lease arrangement with potential for significant long-term occupancy. The geographic specificity and detailed parking requirements indicate a strategic approach to securing an optimal location for military recruitment offices. Potential respondents should carefully review the government's lease requirements and ensure their proposed space meets all specified criteria for a successful submission.

Update #2 ·
The U.S. Government currently occupies retail and related space in a building under lease that will be expiring. The Government is considering alternate space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternate space that potentially can satisfy the government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime. The U.S. Government is seeking retail office space for Army, Navy, Marine Corps, & Air Force Career Center.
