About this opportunity

The 325th Contracting Squadron at Tyndall Air Force Base, under the Department of the Air Force Air Combat Command, has issued a notice of intent to award a single-source contract for Access Control System Service and Maintenance. The contract involves the LenelS2 OnGuard system, which requires specialized maintenance due to its proprietary nature. Securadyne Systems Intermediate LLC (DBA Allied Universal Technology Services), located in Dallas, Texas, currently holds the maintenance contract and is positioned to receive the intended award. The government plans to proceed under simplified acquisition procedures and commercial procedures authority, specifically citing FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). This notice explicitly states that it is not a request for quotations and no formal solicitation will be issued.

The primary purpose of this notice is to provide other contractors an opportunity to demonstrate that competition would be advantageous to the government before proceeding with the single-source award. Interested parties must submit written responses by 2:00 PM CST on July 10, 2025, providing clear and convincing evidence of their ability to comply with requirements including existing database migration and licenses. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to contract award, and oral communications are not acceptable. If no qualifying written responses are received by the deadline, the government will proceed with awarding the contract to the existing contractor. The contract falls under NAICS code 561621 for Security Systems Services and PSC code J063 for maintenance and repair of alarm, signal, and security detection systems.
