About this opportunity
The GSA Federal Acquisition Service's Office of Travel, Transportation and Logistics Services (TTL), specifically the Medium and Heavy Vehicle Branch (QMAAB), has issued a Special Notice for a virtual Industry Day Meeting scheduled for December 10, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm Eastern Time. The meeting will be conducted via Google Meet and is targeted at Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contractors and potential offerors interested in automotive and related Special Item Numbers (SINs). The primary focus of the Industry Day Meeting is Transactional Data Reporting (TDR), which will provide an opportunity for participants to learn about and ask questions regarding the program. Contractors are encouraged to submit their questions via email to Sharon Hamer and Eric VanderVeen prior to the meeting to ensure comprehensive coverage. Following the meeting, presentation materials and questions and answers will be posted on SAM.gov.
The objective of this Industry Day is to provide detailed information about Transactional Data Reporting for nine Transportation and Logistics Services Category K SINs, with a specific emphasis on automotive-related SINs. Eligible participants include current MAS contractors and potential offerors in automotive and related product categories, such as tires, wheel and tire equipment, vehicle accessories, and remanufactured components. Key program details include monthly sales reporting requirements, elimination of Commercial Sales Practice Forms, and changes to Most Favored Customer requirements. Contractors interested in participating must submit monthly reports including contract numbers, order details, product specifications, pricing, and shipping information. The process for opting into TDR involves submitting an eMod request, with specific transition timing for reporting periods. Participants can join the virtual meeting using the provided Google Meet link or conference call details, with a conference number and participant PIN available for remote attendance.
